The three positions our modules can be in
Any Room Profit module falls into one of three positions relative to Profitroom's own native product:
- Extends — Profitroom doesn't ship this at all; our module fills the gap (VAT Automation, WhatsApp Concierge).
- Complements — Profitroom ships a base; our module adds a specialised layer on top (Autopricer sits on Rate Manager; Reviews Aggregator sits on Reputation).
- Overlaps — both products cover the same job, at different price points and depths (Analytics Dashboard vs Profitroom Channel Manager reports).
Category-by-category read
| Category | Profitroom native | Room Profit module | Our take |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rate management UI | Profitroom Booking Engine (native) | Autopricer add-on | Rate Manager stays your source of truth; Autopricer proposes moves into it. |
| Automated pricing rules | Basic rules in Rate Manager | Autopricer | Complements — Autopricer's pace + pickup engine goes deeper than the built-in rules. |
| Booking engine on hotel site | Profitroom Booking Engine Engine (native) | Booking Widget Enhancer (planned Q4) | Profitroom's engine is strong; our future widget adds A/B testing and Polish-language rate-plan copy. |
| Channel manager | Profitroom Channel Manager (native) | None — we don't build here | Profitroom owns this. |
| Reputation / reviews | Profitroom Reviews (native) | Reviews Aggregator | Complements — we add cross-source aggregation (Booking + Google) and reply templates. |
| Guest CRM | Profitroom Guest Communications (native, single-property) | Room Profit Guest CRM | Extends — our CRM unifies profiles across multiple Profitroom properties. |
| WhatsApp guest messaging | Not available natively | WhatsApp Concierge | Extends — clean gap in Profitroom's product surface. |
| Polish VAT + KSeF invoicing | Not available natively | VAT Invoice Automation | Extends — Polish-market-specific, Profitroom won't build this. |
| Google Hotels distribution | Profitroom Channel Manager supports Google Hotels | Google Hotels Booking Sync | Overlaps — our module adds bid management + click-to-book UX polish. |
| Analytics / BI | Profitroom Channel Manager reports (native) | Analytics Dashboard | Overlaps — pick whichever fits your team; Profitroom's own reports are strong if your team already knows them. |
| Multi-property rate sync | Profitroom multi-property groups (native) | Multi-property Rate Sync | Complements — the native groups tool works; our add-on adds derived-rate offsets between properties. |
| Housekeeping ops | Basic in Central, deeper in third-party PMS | Housekeeping Sync module | Complements — bridges Central room-status changes into a mobile app for room attendants. |
Where Profitroom is the better choice
If you're running a single property and your revenue manager already knows the Profitroom Channel Manager reports inside out, our Analytics Dashboard is genuinely optional. If your channel-manager configuration is stable, our modules don't touch that layer. And if your review volume is under 20/month, our Reviews Aggregator is over-engineered for the job — Profitroom Reviews on its own is enough.
Where Room Profit closes real gaps
Three modules regularly answer questions Profitroom users have that Profitroom itself doesn't ship an answer for: (1) WhatsApp guest messaging, (2) Polish VAT invoicing including the mandatory KSeF path from August 2026, and (3) unified guest CRM across multiple Profitroom property accounts. If any of those matter to you, our modules are the shortest path.
How we price relative to Profitroom modules
Room Profit modules sit on top of your existing Profitroom licence. Our prices are per-property, per-month, in EUR, with no per-transaction or per-user fees. A typical three-module stack (Autopricer + WhatsApp + VAT) sits between EUR 180–260/month/property — around 15–25% of a typical Profitroom Suite bill for a 40–80 room independent. If a specific module is cheaper as a Profitroom upsell to your existing account, we'll tell you.
How to decide
The two-question test: (1) Is the module job something Profitroom ships natively, and how strong is that native version for your specific use case? (2) Is the job Polish-market-specific (VAT, invoicing, WhatsApp)? If the answer to (2) is yes, we're always the answer. If (1) is a strong native, use the native. Otherwise, look at whether our module adds depth Profitroom doesn't.
